Once mounted in the vertical position on either a Sherline P/N 3701 right angle attachment or 3750 tilting angle table, this tailstock can be used to hold parts between centers. Because tolerance buildup makes it necessary to provide height adjustment to achieve perfect center-to-center alignment, this fixture has a separate angle plate base to which the tailstock is mounted. This allows for up to 1/8 of vertical adjustment for centering. Once set for your particular rotary table, it will not need to be readjusted in the future.
